Writing training for business people and foreign speakers

I can train you to write better documents for business, to write press releases to promote your organisation, or to simply improve your emails, whether you’re a native English speaker or a foreign language speaker.

I combine:

  • Many years experience as a journalist, copywriter and author.
  • English teaching – to foreign speakers (TESOL, Trinity College) for Cambridge exams: FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS.

Writing for business can be hard, particularly when you have to produce lengthy documents.  The trick is trying to explain everything clearly and concisely and getting  your message across to whoever your audience is.

I also teach English to foreign nationals, especially for Cambridge exams which require students to write letters, emails, reports, essays, proposals, etc. I have helped  people to write  large reports on the environment and human rights, to emails, letters, and  publicity materials (press releases and articles).

One of my best successes was when a friend asked me to train her in writing for PR.  She has been running  a highly successful agency for 25 years now!

Sessions can be held on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, and can be tailor-made to suit the kind of writing that you need to do for business.
